Seamless Learning – Conception and possible implementations<\/h2>\n

Learning and teaching are undergoing profound change. Learners don’t need much more than a mobile device with Internet access to learn anywhere and at any time. Learning resources are ubiquitous and collaborative learning is easier than ever through the Internet. The boundaries between formal and informal learning are becoming increasingly blurred. However, we know from theory and practice that the technology made available has little effect in itself. Teachers as well as learners must learn to deal with what requires a coherent didactic concept. When integrating technologies, the context and requirements of the respective teaching\/learning scenarios must be taken into account. The transfer of a situation in which learning takes place and its field of application or an educational stage based on it is not always barrier-free. The concept of Seamless Learning reacts to this and supports cross-context learning. It provides a framework to address the technological and didactic challenges and to enable lifelong, seamless learning across educational contexts. Learning technologies are integrated in a target-oriented way.
\nThe Center for Innovative Teaching And Learning of the SML and the Institute for Computational Physics of the SoE are leading an international research project funded by Interreg-V of the International Lake Constance University. As part of this project, a conference on Seamless Learning will be held at the ZHAW Winterthur on Monday, September 10, 2018. The keynote speaker was Prof. Dr. Marcus Specht from the Open University of the Netherlands. In another theoretical part of the conference, examples of learning disruptions will be presented. A process model for their analysis as well as didactic and technical possibilities for bridging these breaks are presented. Field reports, among other things in form of a poster session, report from practice and inform about the Seamless Learning projects in the Lake Constance region.<\/p>\n

The focus of this conference is the scientific exchange and networking of didactics and decision-makers in education and training.<\/p>\n

Seamless Learning – Konzeption und m\u00f6gliche Umsetzungen<\/h2>\n

Lernen und Lehren befinden sich in einem tiefgreifenden Wandel. Lernende brauchen nicht viel mehr als ein mobiles Endger\u00e4t mit Internetzugang, um \u00fcberall und zu jedem Zeitpunkt lernen zu k\u00f6nnen. Lernressourcen sind allgegenw\u00e4rtig und auch das kollaborative Lernen ist durch das Internet einfacher denn je. Die Grenzen zwischen formalem und informellem Lernen verwischen zusehends. Aus Theorie und Praxis wissen wir aber, dass zur Verf\u00fcgung gestellte Technologie an sich noch wenig bewirkt. Sowohl Lehrende als auch Lernende m\u00fcssen lernen, damit umzugehen wozu es eines schl\u00fcssigen didaktischen Konzepts bedarf. Bei der Integration von Technologien m\u00fcssen der Kontext und die Anforderungen der jeweiligen Lehr- \/ Lernszenarien ber\u00fccksichtigt werden. Der Transfer von einer Situation, in der Lernen stattfindet und deren Anwendungsfeld oder einem darauf aufbauenden Bildungsabschnitt, ist nicht immer barrierefrei. Das Konzept des Seamless Learning reagiert hierauf und unterst\u00fctzt kontext\u00fcbergreifendes Lernen. Es bietet einen Rahmen, die technologischen und didaktischen Herausforderungen zu adressieren und ein lebenslanges, nahtloses Lernen \u00fcber Bildungskontexte hinweg zu erm\u00f6glichen. Lerntechnologien werden dabei zielf\u00fchrend eingebunden.
\nDas Zentrum f\u00fcr Innovative Didaktik der SML und das Institute for Computational Physics der SoE leiten ein Interreg-V gef\u00f6rdertes internationales Forschungsprojekt der Internationalen Bodenseehochschule. Im Rahmen dieses Projekts findet am Montag, den 10.September 2018 an der ZHAW Winterthur eine Tagung zum Thema Seamless Learning statt. Als Keynote Speaker konnte Prof. Dr. Marcus Specht von der Open University of the Netherlands gewonnen werden. In einem weiteren theoretischen Teil der Tagung werden Beispiele f\u00fcr Lernbr\u00fcche aufgezeigt. Ein Vorgehensmodell f\u00fcr deren Analyse sowie didaktische und technische M\u00f6glichkeiten zur \u00dcberbr\u00fcckung dieser Br\u00fcche werden vorgestellt. Erfahrungsberichte, unter anderem in Form einer Poster Session, berichten aus der Praxis und informieren \u00fcber die Seamless Learning Projekte in der Bodenseeregion.<\/a><\/p>\n

Im Fokus dieser Tagung steht der wissenschaftliche Austausch und die Vernetzung von Didaktikern und Entscheidungstr\u00e4gern in Aus- und Weiterbildung.<\/p>\n

Seamless Learning – Conception and possible implementations<\/h2>\n

Learning and teaching are undergoing profound change. Learners don’t need much more than a mobile device with Internet access to learn anywhere and at any time. Learning resources are ubiquitous and collaborative learning is easier than ever through the Internet. The boundaries between formal and informal learning are becoming increasingly blurred. However, we know from theory and practice that the technology made available has little effect in itself. Teachers as well as learners must learn to deal with what requires a coherent didactic concept. When integrating technologies, the context and requirements of the respective teaching\/learning scenarios must be taken into account. The transfer of a situation in which learning takes place and its field of application or an educational stage based on it is not always barrier-free. The concept of Seamless Learning reacts to this and supports cross-context learning. It provides a framework to address the technological and didactic challenges and to enable lifelong, seamless learning across educational contexts. Learning technologies are integrated in a target-oriented way.
\nThe Center for Innovative Teaching And Learning of the SML and the Institute for Computational Physics of the SoE are leading an international research project funded by Interreg-V of the International Lake Constance University. As part of this project, a conference on Seamless Learning will be held at the ZHAW Winterthur on Monday, September 10, 2018. The keynote speaker was Prof. Dr. Marcus Specht from the Open University of the Netherlands. In another theoretical part of the conference, examples of learning disruptions will be presented. A process model for their analysis as well as didactic and technical possibilities for bridging these breaks are presented. Field reports, among other things in form of a poster session, report from practice and inform about the Seamless Learning projects in the Lake Constance region.<\/p>\n

The focus of this conference is the scientific exchange and networking of didactics and decision-makers in education and training.<\/p>\n
